Artichoke Creative Adds Culinary Services Division
Chef/Instructor Michael Zonfrilli to provide culinary clients with industry expertise

Encinitas, CA – December 14, 2007 – Artichoke Creative, an Encinitas based integrated marketing agency has tapped Chef Michael Zonfrilli to head their culinary services division.
The culinary division of Artichoke Creative will offer integrated marketing that combines digital and traditional mediums, design services, and consulting to food industry clients that include manufacturers, growers, and restaurants. 

“With our strong base of manufacturer, restaurant and grower clients, it made sense to add a food service professional who will bring an in-depth knowledge of the industry to our already strong culinary marketing background. We consider ourselves foodies and know how to market restaurants and food, but Chef Zonfrilli will take us to a whole new level,” said David Boylan, Founder and President of Artichoke Creative.

A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Chef Zonfrilli arrived in San Diego in 1996 and helped open Bellefleur Winery and Restaurant in Carlsbad, taking on the Executive Chef position. From there he helped to change concept of the Dining Room at L’Auberge Del Mar, updating the four star resort’s menus and transforming it into the critically acclaimed J.Taylor’s. After several years as Chef de Cuisine for  L’Auberge, Zonfrilli opened a popular San Marcos bistro, Market St. Café and French Bakery, as Chef-Partner. Chef Z, as his students like to call him, is currently on the faculty at the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of California.
