Artichoke Creative Launches “Marketing Solar Power” Guest Speaker Program
to Colleges and Universities
The original “green” ad agency is offering strategic planning content and real world case studies through its guest speaker program for business schools and sustainability programs based on their extensive track record in the solar industry.
Encinitas, CA – June 22, 2009 – Artichoke Creative, an Encinitas, California based integrated marketing agency specializing in creating cost effective, lead generating campaigns for solar integrators, is offering their expertise to colleges and universities in the form of a guest speaker program featuring it’s founder and President David Boylan. Artichoke Creative has worked with solar clients such as HelioPower, Stellar Solar, Borrego Solar, and Bauer Power. They have developed a solar marketing curriculum based on their experiences marketing solar in California, New England, and the Midwest.
With the proliferation of degrees in sustainability management and the emphasis that business programs are putting on the green economy, there is an immediate need for relevant, real world content and case studies to supplement course curriculums.
“Artichoke Creative has re-branded several solar integrators to reflect today’s market and more solar savvy consumer and have created hundreds of direct marketing and digital campaigns specifically for solar that have focused on the lowest cost-per-lead and cost-per-customer acquisition possible” said David Boylan, founder and President of Artichoke Creative. He added “We literally have a solar marketing playbook that details what mediums work best for any size budget along with innovative creative that has generated huge lead volume and strategic plans that detail how to integrate current customers, events, PR, email, banners, grass roots, and social media into the marketing mix. We are able to offer this content to a university through our guest speaker program where we visit the campus and present it in lecture and case study format. There are many agencies calling themselves green these days, we are one of the few, if not the only one that has such extensive, hands-on experience in the solar space. It made sense for us to share that with the academic world to better prepare students for the emerging green economy.”
